Naruto in Cartoon Network

Naruto, the global hit animé series centering around Uzumaki Naruto, a rebellious ninja in training, makes its U.S. debut on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) during Toonami, Cartoon Network's high-rated action block. The series has already acquired a huge fan base in the U.S. through DVD sales and bootleg tapes, having first aired in Japan in 2002. Its debut on Cartoon Network will mark the first time the series has been shown in English.

"Naruto has reached a level of underground fandom comparable to the Dragonball phenomenon in both the U.S. and abroad. We are excited and honored to present Toonami fans with the compelling characters, story arcs and incredible action that have made Naruto an international sensation," said Bob Higgins, senior vice president of programming for Cartoon Network.

Naruto is an adaptation of the popular manga series Naruto created by Masahi Kishimoto. Cartoon Network has acquired 52 episodes of the animé series that will air during Toonami, Cartoon Network's Saturday prime time action block. Since its modest beginnings on the Cartoon Network, Naruto has taken the U.S by storm with accessories galore, among many other keepsakes and knick-knacks sold nation-wide. However, that isn't the main reason for creator Masashi's Kishimoto anime success.

Cartoon Network, please do not air the Naruto-filler-sagas--just skip straight to Naruto Shippuuden (the second part of the Naruto story). The 85-episodes of crappy Naruto filler (episodes 136 - 220) that follow the Sasuke-retrieval arc (current arc), are poorly written, poorly animated, and do not follow the spirit of Naruto at all. Everyone who watched them in Japanese agrees--they're not worth dubbing. Do not torture your English audience by forcing them to watch 1.6 straight-years of crappy filler.

Rangiku Matsumoto Bleach

Rangiku is oddly funny especially to her adorable lil'captain. :) an attractive woman with long, wavy, ginger hair (worn short in her youth), icy blue eyes, and a beauty mark below her lips. Her most distinctive features are her extremely large breasts, which are even larger than Orihime Inoue's. She dresses in the garb typical of Shinigami, though she lets her robes hang loose for her ample bosom to be revealed. She wears a necklace and a pink scarf over her arms. In addition, her lieutenant's armband is worn on her uniform's sash, as opposed to around the arm.

Rangiku's favorite food is dried persimmon, just like that of Ichimaru. She also shares Orihime's very strange taste in food. She dislikes bamboo shoots because she finds their taste too strong and their texture unpleasant. Her first name, Rangiku, can be translated to "rangaku" which in japanese terms, means western medicine.

Not much is known or mentioned about Rangiku's past. She came from Rukongai and was rescued as a child by Gin Ichimaru the two soon became friends. She was once asked by Ichimaru during her childhood when her birthday was. Rangiku also had been alone for as far as she could remember.

Rangiku may strike many males as one of the better looking females of Soul Society’s top echelons, even if the major reason is her cleavage. Hitsugaya, determined to get to the bottom of the matter, realizes that the only way to do so would be to stop the execution. He thus orders Rangiku to follow him to Central 46 Chambers, where they make the shocking discovery later that the entire Central 46 Chambers has been massacred. When Hitsugaya leaves, Izuru releases his own Zanpakutō to fight against Rangiku who had been ordered to continue the chase.

How To Use This Special Event To Powerlevel Your Lowbies

Any level of player can use some of the magic of this festival to gain a 10% premium to the experience they gain killing mobs, for a full hour! You can easily use this to help power your lower level toons through levels a bit faster - but make use of it now before this bonus is removed!

How do you do it?

After a few moments of having the ribbon attached, your character will start to spin around and around in a squatted position with its arms extended, with the ribbon still attached. You can still run around, jump, do whatever, while this is going on, and it won’t disrupt it unless you go out of range of the Ribbon Pole.

Once you’ve been spinning for a little bit, you should be able to see a buff applied to your toon, displayed to the left of your minimap with the other buffs! Unfortunately, this buff is removed upon death, so be careful - but charge up whenever you’re in a city! Midsummer Fire Festival Guides.
